Paulo
Miranda was born in 1950 in Pirajuí, State of São Paulo. He lived
in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 1967 and 1968. He twice attended the University
of São Paulo School of Portuguese Language and never graduated. He also
never graduated from the School of Social Communication of the FAAP College.
As an inter-semiotic poet, he has published his work in various magazines and
anthologies. He has participated in several shows of visual poetry in Brazil
and abroad. He is also a promoter of events, editor (co-founder of Nomuque Edições),
a printer and scholar of poetry, especially poetry written in Portuguese and
English. His work, in thirty years, consists of no more than 15 pieces. He lives
and works in Sao Paulo.
