The Brazilian pop star Arnaldo Antunes has been making music and videos, writing poetry, doing performances, shows and interventions in other media since 1980. He was a member of the band Titãs from 1982 to 1992. As a solo artist, Arnaldo Antunes released four CDs on the BMG label, Brazil: Nome, Ninguém, O Silêncio, Um Som. There are approximately 150 recordings of his songs by various Brazilian artists. Antunes has published books, including "Ou E", "Psia," "Tudos," "As Coisas" (Prize winner at Prêmio Jabuti de poesia), "2 Ou + Corpos No Mesmo Espaço," "Doble Duplo," and "40 Escritos." He has participated in several exhibitions of visual poetry in Brazil and abroad, including: "Transfutur-Visuelle Poesie," Kassel (1990); "p0es1e-digitale dichtkunst," Munich (1992); "Inside Brazil," Long Beach Museum of Art, CA, USA (1995); "Manipulated Word: Text & Image," Miami, Florida, USA (1996); "VI Bienal de Havana," Cuba (1997); "XXIV Bienal de São Paulo," Brazil (1998), among others.
